Little-known fact: the term sub rosa is Latin for ‘secret’ and is derived from the early Roman practice of hanging a rose over meetings in which the discussion was meant to remain confidential. The concept of sub-rosa carried on into Christian symbolism, too, as many entrances into confessionals are adorned with a rose over the door frame. Today, insurance professionals use the term subrosa investigation to define an investigation that is conducted in secret, or without the subject’s knowledge of our activity.

Our investigations include:

  • Preliminary identification, background and claims history research
  • Expert surveillance with regular client communication
  • Accurate and timely written reports of our investigation
  • Clear and steady surveillance footage provided in any format the client prefers
  • Copies of relevant records or supporting documentation

In all cases, we provide our client with complete and accurate written investigative reports of all activities conducted during an investigation. Our investigators will conduct their investigations in accordance with all applicable legal statues and act within the scope of the highest ethical standards. We are ready and well-prepared to testify and produce surveillance documentation at depositions, Workers’ Compensation hearings, Appeals Boards, and in court, if the matter goes to civil or criminal trial.

We designed the process of assigning us cases with the busy professional in mind.
